We make jewelry with a conscience
At Hinch & Liu, we uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship, ethics, and sustainability, redefining luxury with a conscience. Unlike traditional diamond mining, which disturbs vast areas of land—up to 100 square feet per carat—our lab-created diamonds are produced without disrupting a single inch of soil. Beyond sustainability, we prioritise people, ensuring a zero-injury workplace, unlike the mining industry, where one in every 1,000 workers faces harm.

Lab-grown diamonds vs. ice?
Lab-grown and mined diamonds are like freezer ice and Antarctic ice—both made of the same substance but formed in very different ways. Lab-grown diamonds, like freezer ice, are created quickly in a controlled environment, making them efficient, clear, and sustainable. Mined diamonds, like Antarctic ice, take millions of years to form naturally, carrying history and uniqueness but requiring extensive extraction. However, diamond mining is destructive, causing deforestation, habitat loss, and land damage. While lab-grown diamonds offer a more ethical and eco-friendly choice, mined diamonds hold rarity and tradition. In the end, both shine the same—it’s just a matter of preference.
